In resistance to anti-trans legislation being authored and signed into law in the State of Iowa, United Action for Youth will continue to affirm and advocate for our community's trans and LGBTQ+ youth. Services Provided
Home Visits include building parenting skills; learning about child development; informal counseling; and area advocacy and referrals

Home Health Program includes a Nurse Practitioner (UI College of Nursing Partnership) that provides home visits for well child checks, acute care visits, and prescriptions

Eligibility
-
Young parents 24 years old and younger (Includes pregnant and parenting youth).

Must be pregnant or have a child between the ages of 0 – 5.

Family support services available to residents of Johnson County only.

Services are voluntary.

- Referrals are welcomed from a variety of sources including community agencies and directly from young parents.
