In resistance to anti-trans legislation being authored and signed into law in the State of Iowa, United Action for Youth will continue to affirm and advocate for our community's trans and LGBTQ+ youth. UAY Art Programs provide young people with opportunities for creative expression, self-exploration and experimentation with materials and artistic techniques in a positive environment.
Eligibility: Youth 12-18 yrs. old. We prioritize youth facing barriers to participation in activities that spark their interest (e.g. youth of color, LGBTQ+, and/or low socioeconomic status).

Friday Art Workshops

FREE Art Workshops at the Swaim Youth Center take place every Friday between 4:30-6pm. Each week features a new art workshop. All supplies are provided.
