What We Do

At United Action for Youth, we recognize that every young person's journey is different. Through a broad range of programs and services, we meet youth where they are, creating opportunities for connection and growth, providing support through life's challenges, and helping build foundations for stability and success.

Our work is rooted in three interconnected areas of service: Prevention, Intervention, and Stabilization. Together, they reflect our commitment to nurturing the potential of the whole young person.

Prevention

Creating opportunities. Building connections.

We believe that strong relationships, meaningful opportunities, and a sense of belonging help young people thrive.

Our prevention programs create spaces for youth to explore their interests, express themselves, develop skills, and build connections with their peers and community. Through creative experiences, education, mentorship, and supportive relationships, we help young people discover their strengths and imagine what's possible.

Intervention

Compassionate support in every circumstance.

Every young person encounters challenges, and no one should have to navigate difficult moments alone.

Our intervention services provide responsive, individualized support to young people facing circumstances that affect their safety, well-being, or ability to thrive. Working alongside youth, families, schools, and community partners, we help navigate challenges, connect young people with resources, and identify pathways forward.

Stabilization

Building foundations for what's next.

Safety and stability create opportunities for young people to focus on their futures.

Our stabilization services support youth experiencing circumstances that threaten their housing, security, or overall well-being. Through compassionate guidance, practical resources, and ongoing support, we work alongside young people as they build stability, strengthen independence, and take steps toward goals they define for themselves.
