Tony Branch

Youth Programs Director,

NCCJ

With over 20 years of experience working with youth, he believes intentional and purposeful youth development work can help youth develop into lifelong learners and leaders, as well as help youth successfully transition into adulthood. Tony is specifically passionate about connecting youth with outdoor focused activities and helping young men develop positive masculinity. He is a trained One Circle Foundation Boys Council Facilitator and University of Iowa Challenge Course Lead Facilitator. Tony earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health, Leisure and Sports Studies from the University of Iowa in 2003.

Caymen Woods

Caymen Woods is a second year student at the University of Iowa, majoring in accounting and business analytics. He serves as a peer mentor through the Bizedge mentoring program and he works as a Tippie College of Business Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion ambassador.

Terry Saul, III

Terry Saul, III is a senior Majoring in Business - Ethics & Values, with a minor in Philosophy. He is currently an Iowa Public Policy Research Fellow with interest in Emergency financial management and health outcomes. As well as, a Co-Director of Hubbard Scholars.

Charles Martin-Stanley II

University of Iowa Doctoral Candidate

Charles Martin-Stanley II is a doctoral candidate in Higher Education and Student Affairs at the University of Iowa. His degree specialization area is in diversity, equity, and inclusion. He is expected to finish his dissertation research in the Spring of 2021.


Charles' research focuses on the persistence and retention of African American men in higher education. More specifically he focuses on racial socialization and systemic inequalities within the higher education system. He has also been heavily involved in empowerment groups for Black men on two different college campuses in the midwestern area. He is currently involved in student and community organizing. He serves as the President of Hubbard scholars and is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, Nu Chi Lambda Chapter.

Charles earned his undergraduate degree from Luther College where he majored in Sociology and minored in Africana Studies. He also earned his master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse where he studied Student Affairs Administration. He has a variety of work experiences in diversity and inclusion related work and is also proficient in leadership development, academic research, and academic writing.

Michael Warner-Craft

Michael Warner-Craft is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he's currently a third-year student at the University of Iowa studying Ethics and Public Policy with a specialization in Human Rights. He currently serves as the Assistant District Director to the state of Iowa, for his fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, Co-President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, the governing body for Black Greek Organizations at Iowa, and is the President of his campuses Black Student Union.

Anthony Haughton

University of Iowa Student

Anthony is an Iowa City native studying Ethics & Public Policy at the University of Iowa; where he is working towards a BA. His field specialization is sociology, with an emphasis on criminology. He also maintains minors in economics and African American studies, alongside a certificate in sustainability. He currently serves as the president of his campus’ chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He is an avid fan of backpacking and camping, loves dogs, and enjoys strategy games.

Allen Rashid

University of Iowa Student

Allen Rashid is a graduating 4th year student at the Univeristy of Iowa, studying Sport and Recreation Management with a minor in African American Studies. He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, Alpha Theta Chapter and the National Pan-Hellenic Council. He is also a Resident Assistant on campus. In his freetime, he enjoys watching and playing sports, taking photos, and listening to music.

Rome Lowe

University of Iowa Student

Rome Lowe is from Hollywood, Florida.  He graduated from Sidney High School in Texas and then attended the University of San Antonio and joined the US Army. Upon his completion of service in the military, he transitioned out of service and is now continuing his education with a major in physical therapy at the University of Iowa. Rome is a part of the Iowa Veterans Center and Habitat for Humanity. He takes interest in physical fitness and health.
