Our SPARK Summer for high school takes teens on adventures suitable for every skill level. From camping in a tent to kayaking to river floats, we want teens to get a sense of the wild spaces that aren't so far from home after all. Eligibility: Youth who will be in grades 9-12 for the 2023-2024 school year.

Overnight 'Glamp'out: Thurs. June 8 - Fri. June 9. Kent Park, Tiffin, IA.

Top Ropes Rock Climbing. Friday, June 23. University of Iowa.

Kayak + Camp. Thurs. July 6 - Fri. July 7. Whiterock Conservancy, Coon Rapids, IA. (NW of Des Moines)

Maquoketa River Day Float. Friday, July 21st. Monticello, IA.

Mirror Lake, Wisconsin. Monday, July 31st - Thursday, August 3rd. Baraboo, WI.

Yellow River 3-Day Backpacking Trip: Friday, Oct. 13 - Sunday, Oct. 15. Yellow River State Forest, Harpers Ferry, IA.

How to register: Follow the registration link below. You will choose as many of the trips as you'd like to sign up for in a selection box. *Please note: Each trip has a slightly different capacity. Trips that are full will be marked as FULL - WAITLIST; if/when spots open, we will contact waitlisted youth first come, first serve to fill spots.
