Become a Youth Board Member:
UAY's Board of Directors has two youth positions.
The Board meets monthly. To find out more contact the volunteer coordinator.

Staffing Rotary Center for
Youth Volunteers:
The volunteer center is the hub of communication
and involvement for volunteers at United Action for Youth. Both youth and adult volunteers will staff this office/welcoming
center during regular youth center hours.
Basic responsiblities include:
- Providing
up-to-date information on community services and resources.
- Providing
tours and basic information about the youth center to individuals or community groups.
- Providing
communication and operating support through regular maintenance of activity calenders, brochures, and information on new volunteer
opportunities.

Teenline, Telefriend, Buddyline:
Teenline, Telefriend, and Buddyline are all
peer helplines where youth can call to talk to other youth about family, social and/or personal issues.
Teenliners are youth who have taken active
interest in helping their peers. Teenline volunteers must complete training in order to learn basic peer counseling skills,
discuss teen issues and learn more about community resources.
Youth Voice Commission:
Volunteer to sit as a youth voice representative
in collaborative community planning meetings and panel discussions that emphasize youth involvement, input, and knowledge.
Help in the development and steering of this NEW committee.
