Supportive
peer networks are created during weekly support groups and monthly workshops offered to young moms and dads at UAY, assisting
in alleviating isolation many young parents feel. During these informative meetings teens are able to gather information
on self-esteem and personal and parental skill building as well as build peer relationships that extend beyond UAY.
