Counseling
at United Action for Youth is free and Confidential. 338-7518
All you need to do is call UAY at
338-7518 and ask to speak to a counselor. You don't even have to give your name. You and the counselor can talk over
what's going on and you can get some ideas about your options.
Since 1970 UAY staff have assisted
Johnson County families in resolving challenges as they arise. Our counselors have degrees in Social Work, Mental Health,
Marriage and Family Therapy and Art Therapy. They offer parents of teenagers, families, individual teens, or young couples
the opportunity to talk things over with a skilled and objective 3rd party. Sometimes one session is enough. Sometimes
you may decide on sessions every week or once a month. Regardless of how many or how long, it's all free of charge.
If you'd like to come
in and talk with a counselor, just let us know. You can come in with a friend, you can come in with someone from your
family. The possibilities are endless and the decisions are up to you.
