UAY School of the Arts
The United Action for Youth (UAY) School of the Arts is a studio arts program for junior high and high school students. For the third year in a row, UAY will collaborate with the University of Iowa Art Education Department to offer a program that provides young artists with opportunities to create original work in a supportive and instructional environment. Art teachers in training will offer all program participants the chance to explore new mediums and artistic techniques. The UAY School of the Arts program will be held on Thursdays from 3:30-5:30pm beginning February 28th and running through May 2nd. All workshop sessions will be held in the basement of North Hall located at the north end of Madison Street on the University of Iowa campus. A final art exhibition and reception will be held at the UAY Youth Center on May 2nd. A registration fee of $100 includes art supplies and snacks. Partial scholarships are available – please see additional details at the bottom of the registration form. 2013 UAY School of the Arts Poster 2013 UAY SOA Registration Form are available below!
