Health Education

Health Educator is a new position at UAY. Our Health Educator, Kim Lamon-Loperfido reaches out to youth and their parents thoughout the community, giving presentations on health-related topics.

Kim earned her MPH from the University of Iowa in December of 2008, and her MSW in May 2006. Lamon-Loperfido comes to UAY with an enthusiasm for the power of prevention and believes that we all play a part in protecting the health of our community.

Making Proud Choices, an eight- week curriculum is another option. This program has been identified by the Centers for Disease Control as a program that works.
